I wish to add my voice in congratulating Dr. Gogia and the rest of the team publishing a book on the fundamentals of telehealth and telemedicine. This is a great milestone in the history and development of this technology. I remember in 2003 when the Ministry of Health appointed us to form a task force for Zambia there was no reliable literature on the subject. Therefore launching this book is an important event because there is now a text which outlines principles of telehealth and telemedicine. I look forward to reading this book when and if it will be available in Zambia.
