Each month the Global Health site has a monthly focus on an important public health issue and provides a related news item, a useful smart search, and a selection of focussed records, book chapters and CAB reviews.

-------------------AUGUST'S FOCUS TOPIC is WORLD HEPATITIS AWARENESS DAY 2020

The Home page news article is: "World Hepatitis Awareness Day 2020 - Finding the undiagnosed millions"

Worldwide over 300 million individuals do not know they have viral hepatitis. World Hepatitis Awareness Day aims to educate about the disease and how it can be cured.

The World Health Organization is calling on world governments to honour their commitment to finding the millions living with undiagnosed viral hepatitis.
