Greetings from the WHO Patient Safety Flagship. We would like to invite you to the WHO Global Patient Safety Network Webinar on "Patient safety implications during the COVID-19 pandemic - Experiences from Countries from the WHO European region" on Friday, 22 May 2020 from 14:00 to 15:30, Geneva time.
COVID-19 pandemic has been putting the health care system at risk globally. Under this situation, the potential risks which may reach to both patients and health workers could be higher than usual due to various reasons. There has been a lot of information available about lessons learned to prevent health care associated infections, however there is limited information available on broad implications for patient safety both on COVID patients and non-COVID patients during the pandemic.
The goal of this webinar is to share essential learnings on patient safety implications during COVID-19 pandemic and response by frontline health care professionals and/or the policy makers at national level.
Through the collaboration with WHO European office, we have distinguished speakers from three countries in the European region.
