Subject: Funding for global health research (including NTDs)
Hope this email finds you well.
I wanted to share some information about a funding programme we have just launched for early career researchers in the fields of global health and tropical medicine. It’s open to people working in all sectors and of all nationalities, based anywhere in the world. The deadline is 15 April and the grants are for up to GBP £5,000.
Applications focused on our thematic areas listed in our five-year strategy [https://rstmh.org/about-us/note-president] will be prioritised, the first of which is neglected tropical diseases, with a particular focus on their overlap with non-communicable diseases and the Sustainable Development Goals.
The purpose of the grants are to enable early career researchers and global health professionals in the field of tropical medicine or global health to undertake clinical or scientific research or fieldwork, as stand-alone projects or distinct elements within a larger project.
It would be great if you could share with your networks, colleagues, peers or anyone who might be interested! Do let me know if you have any questions.
