The first Global Health Literacy Summit is the first largest and most diverse global gathering on health literacy. Organized by the International Health Literacy Association and hosted by the E-DA Healthcare Group | I-Shou University, the summit will bring together over 500 people from 80 countries to network and share ideas on how to advance health literacy. The theme of the summit is “health literacy for all” to highlight the importance of health equity, and ensuring there is a voice for all individuals. Due to COVID-19, we have postponed the Summit to October 3-5th, 2021 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. We recognize now more than ever the impacts of the pandemic, creating the parallel of the infodemic. The program includes workshops from interest groups, master classes, research sessions showcasing new, innovative health literacy work, plenary sessions with notable speakers from around the world including Sir Michael Marmot, Digital Minister Audrey Tang, and much more!
