IFLA SIG, Evidence for Global and Disaster Health (E4GDH) has two calls for papers:
i. The joint satellite meeting with Science and Technology Libraries section in Vienna: “Library Services for Open Science”
ii. During the main congress, there is a 2-hour joint session with Continuing Professional Development and Workplace Learning (CPDWL):
"Active and interactive learning and development strategies to extend LIS practice: the need for new skills to meet the challenges of our world".

HIFA profile: Octavia-Luciana Madge is an Associate Professor at the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Letters, Department of Information and Documentation Sciences, Romania and the editor-in-chief of the journal Studii de Biblioteconomie È™i È˜tiinÈ›a InformÄƒrii / Library and Information Science Research published by the University of Bucharest. She is also a Medical Doctor, member of the Bucharest College of Physicians. She was employed at the Bucharest Emergency Clinical Hospital during her training as a Family Physician. Her most recent clinical activity is in an Emergency Department.
