Today marks World Hepatitis Day 2020, which aims to raise awareness of the global burden of viral hepatitis and efforts to eliminate it as a public health concern by 2030. Globally, an estimated 325 million people are living with hepatitis B or C, of whom it is thought around 290 million are unaware of their status.
