Launch of Antimicrobial Stewardship Prescribing App

Dear HIFA Colleagues

A year on from the inception of the Commonwealth Partnerships for Antimicrobial Stewardship Programme (CwPAMS), *a new app for healthcare professionals to inform appropriate antimicrobial use* and support stewardship initiatives is being launched. The app is designed to be an easy way to access infection management information provided in national standard treatment guidelines.

*Please find attached [*see note below] a press release *and flyers containing more information on this exciting development. *We would ask for your help in publicising* this the launch of the App that will coincide with the second day (Tues 19th November) of World Antibiotic Awareness Week 2019.
