I hope this finds you well.
Would it be possible for you to share our upcoming THET Conference with your community?
Bringing together 300 delegates a day and over 60 speakers from across the NHS and global health community, THET Conference 2019 will enable participants to discuss the role of partnerships in achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC). In exploring this theme, the conference will be built around four streams that we believe will transform partnership approaches to ensuring quality UHC: Responsibility, Collaboration, Innovation, Equity. Day 1 of the conference will set the scene, providing delegates with an unrivalled opportunity to understand their work in the context of shifting global health and UK government priorities. On the evening of Day 1 we will formally launch our latest policy report ‘From Competition to Collaboration’. Hosted by Lord Nigel Crisp, Co-Chair APPG Global Health, the evening will be a celebration of the report and an opportunity to network with delegates! Day 2 will provide a platform for those involved in global health to celebrate and discuss specific interventions. Delegates will have the chance to consider practical interventions which illuminate the transformational themes. Working in partnership to support health workers across the world.
The world will be short of 18 million health workers by 2030. Read From Competition to Collaboration to learn how ethical leadership in an era of health worker mobility is vital in addressing this challenge.
