2 December, 2019

Yes Halima [Halima Salisu-Kabara, Nigeria] this information you have shared throws light on the discussion. Infact it is packed full of information that I believe members like me have gained a lot by reading. [http://www.hifa.org/dgroups-rss/world-aids-day-4-who-innovative-who-hiv-...

1st December has significance for two reasons in Cross River State Nigeria: first from 2004 the state joins the world to mark the World AIDS day and the awareness, momentum and focus generated was key to reducing the prevalence rate by 50% in the subsequent three years. Secondly the day marks the start of a month of activities as Christmas Festival that climaxes with the Calabar Annual Carnival (‘the greatest street party in Africa’) with all its socio-economic boost for millions of visitors and indigenes who throng the state during the month.

So Thanks for sharing the information.
