Marcela Lima is a Senior Community Development Officer at the Alcohol and Drug Foundation (ADF) in Australia. In this role, Marcela is responsible for delivering primary prevention programs to local communities, seeking to build community resilience, strengthen and build capacity that reduce the impact of alcohol and other drug related harm. Marcela has recently completed a Master’s degree in Global Health and Development at UCL, and prior to that, has worked in surveillance of infectious disease, health services research and community engagement. Marcela is interested in the role of high-quality healthcare information in empowering professionals and communities, and consequently in improving health.
