Ozge Karadag Caman

Ozge Karadag Caman earned her medical degree at Istanbul University, and her MSc and PhD Degrees in Public Health at Hacettepe University in Turkey. She also holds a postgrad degree in health promotion from the LSMTH. Dr. Karadag Caman works an associate professor at Hacettepe University, Institute of Public Health and has been working as a consultant for UNFPA, UNICEF, UNAIDS, UNHCR, IOM, WHO, and EU as well as for ministries, and civil society organizations in different national and international projects for more than 15 years. She has experience working in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams to conduct research, develop public health policies and programs for different vulnerable/disadvantaged groups, such as young people, refugee/migrant populations, people living with HIV, sexual minorities, and persons with mental or physical disabilities. Her main research interests are vulnerable/ disadvantaged populations and their access to health care, health literacy, health education and promotion, migrant health, sustainable development, community participation, community mental health, and stigma and discrimination.  Email: ozgecaman@gmail.com
