2020 BMA Information Fund now open for applications from health-focussed organisations in low-resource countries

25 September, 2020

Dear All,

I am pleased to announce that the 20th anniversary BMA Information Fund opens for applications today, on the 5th anniversary of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The fund provides health information and educational materials to health-focused organisations in low-income countries.

We work in partnership with Health Books International to provide resources that are tailored to the specific education and training needs of health workers operating in low-resource settings. Materials available include books, online resources, practical guides and tools, DVDs and CDs.

This year we are giving added weight to requests that support mitigation and recovery from COVID-19, whether through direct action to combat the virus or restoring other services disrupted as a result of the pandemic. Successful applicants will show that the requested resources will have a sustained and meaningful impact, and support achievement of one or more SDG targets.

Have a look at our webpage and read the blog from our International Committee chair for more information on the initiatives we have previously supported and information on how to apply.
