Thank you so much Neil,

I almost deleted the email which brought the news, as I thought it was a scam! I expected to see "send us £100 and we will get you an award from the Queen!" But there was no request for my bank details so I guessed it was real. I've known since June but couldn't say anything, which for me, was very difficult!

I hope this will bring the much needed publicity to the tragedy and injustice of maternal deaths. There is so much happening in the world at the moment, that their continuing plight and stubbornly high numbers are not getting the profile that they deserve.
