October is Health Literacy Awareness month, an opportunity to boost awareness of the millions of people worldwide, who have problems reading, understanding and acting upon health information. The coronavirus pandemic, and subsequent infodemic, has impacted the health of millions with poor health literacy.

CABI recently said farewell to Dr Isobel Hoskins after 25 years with the organisation, she leaves for a well-deserved retirement. Dr Hoskins was an instrumental figure in the establishment of Global Health and Nutrition resources at CABI.

CABI is therefore recruiting a health publisher, ideally with a background in database and journal products, and a knowledge of public health across the world, ideally with a keen interest in one health.
