Calling GLL innovators and change-makers,
Do you work in the health sector as a health professional, volunteer, researcher, educator or policy maker?
Are you spearheading innovation or leading transformative processes that introduce a different way of doing business?
Are you willing to share your personal story with changemakers from around the world to develop a collective narrative about change that can inspire and pave the way for others?
If you answered yes to the questions above, we would like to hear from you!
The calls for health systems transformation started well before the current COVID-19 pandemic and has been propelled by significant shifts in health demographics and the increasing need for people-centred health care and community-engaged services and systems. Such shifts will require (among others) leadership at all levels of the health system to: develop new service delivery models; redesign infrastructure and operational processes; modernize health professional training curricula; and usher in an interprofessional culture that is compassionate and collaborative.
WHO is collaborating with the Presencing Institute (PI), a global action research platform working towards societal transformation, to gather stories from individuals who are actively working towards transforming their own health care systems. The purpose is to better understand their personal journeys and weave them into a collective narrative that describes what it takes to transform. For further information on PI see: https://www.presencing.org/ For further information on the global Macro Hub on health and well-being under which this initiative sits see: https://www.presencing.org/community/hubs/macro-hub-health--wellbeing
