Coronavirus (1400) Communicating risks and benefits of COVID-19 vaccine (10) Reliability of national data

11 November, 2021

I agree with Najeeb when he wrote, 'Talking of figures on number of people infected, vaccinated, cured, etc. I personally don’t believe these figures knowing how these were calculated by governments and then sent to WHO, CDC, etc. to include in global reports.'

We should all remember that 'garbage in, garbage out' phrase. It is not possible to ignore the impact of wrong/falsified/massaged/politicised data from different countries that the WHO collates and analyses to issue its final advice!. Inaccurate data is fueling the global infodemic in COVID-19 pandemic.
