Coronavirus (911) Definition of infodemic (14)

17 August, 2020

Dear Dr. Neil,

In my contribution, you can't be far from the truth. Misinformation coming from the persons of influence is far more dangerous as it can spread far and wide.

Not so long ago the President of Madagascar stop on the podium and sip of the magic tea he proferred as CURE for Covid-19. Several African countries where euphoric and acquired the Tea. Today Madagasca is dealing with a rise in Covid-19 admissions.

In short extent to which infordemic can go is closely related to who makes those claims.

Let us all stay safe with information from trusted sources. Yes guidelines are constantly changing.

Regards
