Geneva Health Forum, 16-18 November 2020

24 March, 2020

Dear HIFA colleagues,

For all those who had been planning to attend the Geneva Health Forum, please see the message below from the Geneva Health Forum

I, and several other HIFA Steering Group members, had been preparing Roundtable sessions on Access to Health Research Information and Multilingualism, as well as a side-event for HIFA members. Like the GHF Presidents, our thoughts are with all the health workers who are at the forefront of this battle and all those affected by coronavirus.

As previously circulated on HIFA, the conference has been postponed until 16th to 18th November 2020, and we look forward very much to see you there.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Over the next days, from 24th to 26th March, we should have gathered in Geneva at the CICG for the 8th edition of the Geneva Health Forum (GHF). As you all know, we had to postpone our event given the coronavirus outbreak, which has sadly in the meantime become a worldwide pandemic.

In these difficult times, our thoughts are going to all the health workers who are at the forefront of this battle and to all affected by this disease, in one way or another.

This global crisis has only reinforced us in our conviction that health is a major global issue and that a platform allowing for exchange, empowerment and learning from best practices, such as the one offered by the Geneva Health Forum, is highly needed.

Therefore, we are committed to making the next edition of the GHF, scheduled to take place from 16th to 18th November this year, a success. We wanted to let you know that we are all working from home and willing to work closely with you, though virtually for now, as always.

We are looking forward to making together this next edition of the Forum a success.

We wish to you and your beloved ones all the best in these challenging times.

Yours Sincerely,

The GHF Co-Presidents

Best wishes, Neil
