Institutional Research Capacity Strengthening for NCDs

12 August, 2020

Dear HIFA colleagues,

We have received notice of an upcoming call for proposals which may be of interest to research institutions in LMICs:

Institutional Research Capacity Strengthening for NCDs

Potential advert date: 31 October 2020

For more information about the funding Programme, visit the Global Health Page

These awards will provide substantive funding to strengthen research capacity in LMICs to undertake and manage high-quality research to address the growing burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Awards will support a research-driven approach to strengthen institutional capacity in LMICs. Consortia will include an LMIC lead institution, a UK administering institution and up to three further partner LMIC HEIs, working together with relevant local and national stakeholders.

Note to all research institutions: Please consider the possibility of including HIFA in your next funding proposal, if your work would benefit from multidisciplinary thematic discussions on the forums. We are very open to start a dedicated project on NCDs, and there is interest for this among HIFA supporting organisations also.

Best wishes, Neil
