INVITATION: Twitter Chat, 6 October 15.00-16.00 CET - Share lessons and reflections on UHC in the time of COVID-19 (2)

6 October, 2020

Dear Martin,

Many thanks for sending details of the Twitter chat. HIFA is glad to be supporting this initiative by our partners at UHC2030 at WHO Geneva.

I would like to invite HIFA members to comment on the open question: 'One year after the High Level Meeting, what are you doing to take forward commitments to UHC?' Please email your thoughts to

We'd be especially keen to hear examples at country level, and also the efforts of individual organisations.

Speaking on behalf of HIFA, we have made UHC a central part of our overall strategy, advocating for universal access to reliable healthcare information as a prerequisite for UHC. See our recent paper in BMJ Global Health:

The HIFA Steering Group is meeting on 28 October for our Annual Strategy Day and we have some ambitious plans to continue supporting UHC through 2021-3.

Best wishes, Neil
