Largest global vaccine confidence survey finds public trust in vaccines varies widely across the world (2)

I was surprised when I read the chapter below in the report, because who would have thought that Africans believed more in immunisation than parts of Asia.

'In 2019, Iraq (95%), Liberia (93%), and Senegal (92%) had the highest proportion of respondents who agreed that it is important for children to be vaccinated, while Hong Kong (36%), Russia (34%), and Albania (26%) reported the lowest proportion strongly agreeing on the importance of vaccines.'

I suppose that portends good for the continent of Africa inspite of the infodemics exacerbated by COVID-19 pandemic. Lets hope it does not change.
