An interesting article I came across on The Lancet, talks about the overview of Covid-19 among HIV positive adults. A quite overlooked area currently, HIV infection and especially AIDS is already a severely immunocompromised condition and hence any other superinfection can be a concern for such individuals. Covid-19 is a new challenge in the field of treatment of HIV infection since it already doesn't have any specific approved dedicated drug for its treatment, and hence the immune system only is the ultimate line of natural defence and HIV infected people are
immunocompromised. In this study, they have mentioned various drug therapies and their impact on Covid-19 infection among HIV positive individuals.
