Dear Don and all,
Thank you for your message "Congratulations Neil and to your Steering group. The era of this pandemic has made it even more clear that we need not only excellent analysis and messages but also a means to communicate to the ends of the world!!"
Indeed the Strategy is an important milestone in HIFA's development. I invite all HIFA members to take part. Our first step is to publicise the Strategy far and wide, and thereby identify key individuals and organisations who will support our vision of universal access to reliable healthcare information the implementation of the Strategy. We need to engage more people, more organisations, and more funding.
What HIFA members can do:
1. Jules Storr, HIFA lead for Twitter, is publicising the Strategy on social media. I encourage everyone to retweet the following tweet (more will be sent this week):
"Hot off the press; our HIFA Strategy 2022-2024 - builds on 15 years of solid growth & achievements https://www.hifa.org/news/press-release-healthcare-information-all-hifa-... "
2. I invite all HIFA members to:
a. review the Strategy https://www.hifa.org/sites/default/files/articles/HIFA_Strategy_2022_24.pdf
b. make comments, ask questions
c. forward the Strategy to your colleagues and invite them to join us: www.hifa.org/join
Thank you for your support! Looking forward to further discussion - and action.
Best wishes, Neil
