Revised search filters for identifying studies undertaken in LMICs

6 May, 2020

Dear HIFA colleagues

Cochrane EPOC, in collaboration with colleagues at WHO and John Eyers, has just released a revised version of our LMIC filters, based on the World Bank 2019 list of economies; a combination of specific country terms, general LMIC terms, and also relevant demonyms, for PubMed (NLM), MEDLINE (Ovid) Embase (Ovid), and CENTRAL (Cochrane Library). Please see the further information below, and the filters are freely available for download on the EPOC website here: https://epoc.cochrane.org/lmic-filters

Thanks to Marit Johansen at the EPOC Oslo satellite for leading this work.

Best wishes

Simon
