1) WHO Strategy for Engaging Religious Leaders, Faith-Based Organizations and Faith Communities in Health Emergencies: The first half hour of this session will review the newly finalized strategy which has an overarching goal to ensure more effective responses to health emergencies by strengthening collaboration between the WHO, national governments and religious leaders, faith-based organizations, and faith communities, resulting in more people being better protected from health emergencies and enjoying better health and well-being, including improved trust and social cohesion.

2) Kenya case study: Colleagues from Kenya Ministry of Health, WHO, UNICEF and faith partners including the National Muslim COVID-19 Response Committee, the Inter-Religious Council of Kenya, and the Hindu Council of Kenya come together to discuss the unique ways in which they developed an interfaith response to the pandemic to address misinformation, mistrust, communication and response needs.
