The WHO Collaborating Centres’ Midwifery Network, in partnership with the WHO Quality of Care Network, is delighted to invite you to the fourth WHO CC Midwifery Network Webinar, which focuses on Quality Improvement in Midwifery. This exciting webinar will showcase the work of three leading specialists in this area. Dr Anneka Knutson (UNFPA) will give an overview of the essential role that midwives play in ensuring quality of maternity care. Dr Harriet Chanza (WHO, Malawi) will give an in-country example of implementing a Quality Improvement initiative in Malawi and Dr Rajesh Mehta ( WHO, India) will describe the development and implementation of the Point of Care Quality Improvement (POCQI) tool, which is a key part of the forthcoming ‘Interprofessional Midwifery Education Toolkit'.
