CHIFA Webinar on Children’s Participation in Action and Learning for Nutrition, 18 May 2017

On the 18th of May at 13:00 GMT, CHIFA will be holding a webinar on Children’s Participation in Action and Learning for Nutrition (PCAAN), a program run by Children for Health in partnership with the Government of Mozambique. This event is free.  PCAAN In Mozambique, the dreadful facts are that in some districts, 44% of all children under 5 suffer from chronic malnutrition. This limits the potential of these children and makes them more prone to disease.

Meeting information needs for mental health - addressing myths and stigma

HIFA (Healthcare Information For All) is seeking collaborators to explore how to increase the availability and use of reliable information on mental health, for the prevention and management of mental illness in low- and middle-income countries - and how to reduce misinformation, myth and stigma. We have several eminent global mental health professionals among our members. In 2017 we aim to expand the depth and breadth of our discussions in this area. HIFA Access to Health Research: From dialogue to action

How can research be made available in the right language, both for producers as well as consumers of health research? 2. How can we improve access to the full text of research papers? 3. How can we improve access to complementary and derivative publications (eg plain-language summaries, commentaries, policy briefs)?
