Coronavirus (820) Competing science and engaging the public

12 July, 2020

Dear HIFA members,

Misinformation, myths and unreliable ('fake' or 'pseudo') science around coronavirus are widespread and hamper the effectiveness of evidence-informed public health interventions.

I would be interested to hear what (if anything) you do to help the general public and health professionals focus on reliable evidence and ignore unhelpful messages, and which methods you use to achieve this.

Thanks

Knut
