Ebola Virus Disease epidemic - over 2,020 cases, 1,926 confirmed and 94 probable; 1,354 deaths

There is a major problem that does not seem to be receiving the measure of World attention that it should. Somehow even though the WHO has kept it on the front burner of global health, it does not seem to be receiving the fevered attention that the last West Africa epidemic of Ebola in 2014 received, even though the number of cases in DRCongo epidemic has passed 2000 ( two thousand cases): it is the EBOLA in DRCongo, seemingly uncontrollable, yet!  Dont get me wrong we read of multiple efforts in DRCongo and elsewhere trying to curb the disease but it does not seem to have received the same world media coverage to this point. Maybe thats what is missing. READ ON

 Since the beginning of theepidemic, the cumulative number of cases is 2,020, 1,926 confirmed and 94probable.  In total, there were 1,354 deaths (1,260 confirmed and 94probable) and 542 people healed. ----------------------------- ‘’
