Dear all,
As a midwife with a passion for breastfeeding and respectful maternity care, I wonder where the support for breastfeeding mothers, mothers to be, uninterrupted skin to skin etc is in this debate. Why do women chose/being convinced formula is better/the same?
I have not seen so much formula or advertising for formula in Kenya where I have worked, nor in Sweden where I live. But I do see a lack of support to breastfeeding mothers in both countries.
