Meet with CFHI at CUGH Conference

11 March, 2022

Dear HIFA Colleagues,

Child Family Health International (CFHI), a supporter of HIFA and non-profit leader in Global Health Experiential Education, will be engaging in a variety of ways during the upcoming Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) conference. CFHI is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year - it's a hallmark year for the organization! It's a fitting time to discuss experiential education in global health as travel resumes, students/trainees seek immersion in global health realities and CFHI's portfolio is built out with both in-person and virtual mechanisms for students to undertake global health internships, practicum, electives, and service-learning. CFHI has two enrollment mechanisms for students: direct individual and institutional (academic) partnerships.

We will be presenting our Virtual Global Health Elective for final year clinical trainees on Tuesday, March 22 (7a-10a PST) at the Education Committee Satellite Session. This half-day event that will get you up to speed on a variety of approaches in global health education is FREE and you can register here: https://www.cugh2022.org/satellitesession1. To register for the entire virtual conference, visit: https://www.cugh2022.org/.

For those attending the conference don't miss CFHI's posters on COVID impacts to Global Health Educational Partnerships, our poster on learner impacts of virtual global health education programs, and the Reflection in Global Health Essay Contest Winners/Reading (Tuesday, March 29 at 4pm EST). See the conference agenda here: https://www.cugh2022.org/agenda.

If you want to learn more about collaborating with CFHI, reach out to Dr. Jessica Evert, CFHI Global Medical Director @ jevert@cfhi.org. We can meet during the conference or at a time that is most convenient.

Looking forward to seeing you at CUGH 2022!

Best, Jess
