Dear Gonca, this subject so new and debatable.
What do you think about amplifications of existing inequalities in the digital environment? Children who are already from 'well-resourced' families and schools are getting new technologies tailored in ways that are helping them. They can use digital spaces to increase their successes. Adolescents from low resourced families cannot find adult support or trainings for their internet use. They need some digital skills to be empowered in the digital environments. They report more bullying online. They have more vulnerabilities in digital spaces.
Segregation of offline spaces are coming into online spaces. Inequitable access to technology and internet can widen the gap between different socioeconomic groups. Those without access to digital tools may miss out on education, employment, opportunities and resources avaliable online.
