Dear all
I wrote two articles for the Bulletin of Social Medicine, the official
journal of the Japanese Society for Social Medicine.
"Impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Children Internationally—Research
products by members of the International Society for Social Pediatrics and
Child Health" introduces a review of papers by ISSOP researchers on the
situation of children during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The discussions on "hidden pandemics" and "syndemics" are helpful.
The abstract is in English.
The other is "Children Pay the Price for Our Silence -Children in Gaza- The
Role of Individuals and Academic Organisations" I chose this title in
honour of Ayesha, who wrote an article in The Lancet about the ongoing
fighting in the Gaza Strip.
https://doi.org/10.60435/socialmedicine.41.2_102
Only the title is in English.
I believe that these articles have an impact on Japanese medicine,
especially the paediatric Society.
