Dear Neil,
I read Bernard’s comments and questions on my polio vaccine misinformation discussion.
I would like to answer your questions that yes, people do perceive it as a strange thing to only vaccinate females for HPV, and why it’s a public health concern out of nowhere.
Secondly, as people believe that the polio vaccine can cause infertile males, the same thoughts are expressed in the case of HPV that it can cause infertility in females.
About the Polio vaccination misconception, I suggested that we need to politely educate the kids at school. So, when kids go back to their homes, they too can educate their parents.
I would like to hear Bernard’s thoughts on how one can implement such a decision to stop these mass vaccination days.
I have sent the answers to the given WhatsApp number.
Thanks
Fatima Anwar
