... Women’s mental health in Bangladesh is a significant public health concern. They face a higher burden of mental health issues (21.5%) prevalence compared to men (15.7%). Anxiety and depression are the most common disorders, fueled by factors like domestic violence, child marriage, gender inequality, and high household and professional workloads. Risk factors include gender-based violence, low socioeconomic status, limited decision-making power, and high pressure from managing both household and professional work, particularly highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic...
