Shortened TB regimens for children

30 May, 2026

Please take a few minutes to complete our short survey to help shape the future of TB treatment in children.

In 2022, the SHINE trial https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2104535?query=featured_home showed that a four‑month treatment is as effective as the standard six‑month regimen for children with non‑severe TB, informing updated WHO guidelines.

We are gathering views to understand how widely this shorter regimen is being used in practice worldwide, and to identify any barriers to its adoption. Your input will be important in highlighting gaps, informing future guidance, and ultimately improving care for children with TB.

Please access the questionnaire here: https://forms.office.com/e/WMuWkzCuMx?origin=lprLink

Thank you very much for considering taking part and for sharing your valuable experience.
