Introduction: Paul Arthur Osaroejii, health services researcher, Fort Worth, Texas

20 October, 2026

Dear HIFA colleagues,

I am Paul Arthur Osaroejii, Founder and Principal Investigator of Axiom Preventive Health Systems, LLC, based in Fort Worth, Texas, United States. I am a health services researcher, and I am a PhD candidate in Health Services at Walden University. My working life has been spent inside health care delivery from two directions: more than twelve years in medical claims and health insurance operations, where I saw at close range how care succeeds or fails after it is approved, and research and writing on how primary health care systems can deliver prevention reliably and equitably.

My interests in this community are primary health care, health information for all, health systems strengthening, and healthcare delivery in low and middle income countries. My recent book, The Primary Healthcare Delivery Compact (October 2026), studies how Nigerian primary health care can be rebuilt through accountable delivery, equity, local capability, and technology transfer, and my first book, The Preventive Care Ecosystem, examines why preventive care fails in the United States and the operating system that fixes it.

I joined HIFA to learn from colleagues working on these problems in many countries, and to contribute what the payer side of the system has taught me about the distance between care that is approved and care that is actually received. I look forward to the conversations.

With appreciation,

Paul Arthur Osaroejii
