Overview

The Fundraising Working Group (FRWG) is a group of HIFA volunteers with the task of raising income for HIFA activities through personal donations and local fundraising. The group also coordinates fundraising aspects of website messaging, fundraising platform (iRaiser), and social media support. 

The FRWG complements the work of the Partnerships and Projects Working Group (PPWG).

 

 

 

Activities

Objectives 2024

  1. Strengthen FRWG
  2. Improve website comms
  3. Improve pathways to iRaiser
  4. Strengthen links between SoMe and FR/iRaiser
  5. Engage help and advice from people outside FRWG
  6. Encourage HIFA members and others to give personal donations
  7. Explore other sources of funding (eg high net worth giving)

 

Publications

Global Healthcare Information Network (GHI-Net, the non-profit organisation that administers HIFA) is dependent on the generosity of a wide range of organisations for their financial support and collaboration.

GHI-Net does not accept funding from organisations whose activities are, or may be perceived to be, in conflict with its commitment to global health and the availability of relevant, reliable and unbiased information for citizens, health workers and policymakers.
