‘Three 'Synergistic' Problems When Taking Blood Pressure’ (5)

16 June, 2023

We stationed a blood pressure machine in a specially designed information room in the waiting room ( where people unfortunately sat for half an hour or more!!). The room was run by volunteers and they were trained to show people how to take their blood pressure. Patients who had had a raised blood pressure diagnosed were given blood pressure, choledyerol, weight cards to carry and add to themselves. Dr Brian Fisher's Evergreen Health allows patients to add their own business to the shared interoperable shared health data and personal health record. The need for interopeable shared EHR awas endorsed by the 76th WHA in May.

I will forward a summary of the special session of the 76th WHA set aside to discuss and commit to a Global Health Data Governance ( HDG), later.

I am presenting to the year 7 and year 8 students again on Tuesday and I will take in my blood pressure machine for them to try out (they will all be sitting for more than half an hour - not sure how relaxed they will be listening to me.....)
