Funding Opportunity!

International Community Access to Child Health (ICATCH)

2021 Grant Cycle NOW OPEN!

Grants from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)’s International Community Access to Child Health (ICATCH) Grant Program are now available for child health work carried out in low- and low-middle income countries!

Funding is $2000 per year for 3 years (total $6000). Application requires a Director (must live near the target community) and a Co-Director (who can live in any country).

Applicants need NOT be pediatricians—CHWs, nurses, physical therapists, etc. are welcome to apply.

Funding is not for research — we are eager to support small, simple but sustainable efforts that improve child health.

Topic areas for proposals this year are:

1. Physical or Developmental Disabilities in Children

2. Childhood or Adolescent Mental Health (preschool to age 21 years)

3. Boys’ and Young Men's Health (males up to age 21 years)

4. Newborn Health

Applying is a 2-step process:

Preliminary Applications DUE MONDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2020 (this is a fairly simple online form)

Full Applications (invitation only) DUE EARLY-MARCH, 2021 (we provide coaching)

Please share this announcement with your colleagues!
