It is really sad that decades after Human breast milk has shown that it is superior in every indicator to artificial milk most Babies are still receiving artificial milk especially in countries where water, sanitation, hygiene continue have remain lacking and poverty and ignorance rife.

As with the increase of smoking that damages health but governments continue to allow the sale of tobacco products because they collect taxes from tobacco dealers and manufacturers of its products, governments have continued to resist the curtailing of the actions of manufacturers of artificial breast milk because they collect huge taxes from them even at the peril of lives of Hundreds of thousands of babies and the damaging effects on their parents and society.

It is time for parents, civil society organizations, Non governmental organizations, health supporting philanthropists and health workers And professional groups worldwide to intensify the campaign for the prohibition of unregulated sake of artificial milk to babies; intensify the dissemination of information of the numerous health benefits of Human breast milk to parents, the community and to health workers and other stakeholders. The time is now!
