The Africa CDC Youth Advisory Team For Health (YAT4H) is appointed

3 February, 2023

Dear HIFA colleagues,

Youths as we know play a commensurate role in determining the future of global health both by their engagement to global health and their understanding of the need to take their health and mental health seriously.

From the 10-11th December 2022 in Kigali the Africa CDC hosted a youth pre-conference under the theme : "meaningful youth engagement for advancing sustainable health security in Africa". This has lead to the appointment of a youth advisory team for health

which took service on the 1st of February 2023.

In my capacity of HIFA Country Representative Coordinator Afro region, I want to congratulate warmly all the team of YAT4H and wish them all the best!

We are yearning to work with you to advance work on the access and availability of healthcare information and mental healthcare information amongst youths in Africa.

Best regards,
