Yes indeed, it is also a reminder that health misinformation is not just a social media phenomenon. It has of course been going on since the dawn of mankind, and the radio remains a very important channel for information and misinformation (especially in rural areas of LMICs). It would be interesting to have an objective assessment of the role of radio in both. Also, what can be done to shift the balance in radio content away from misinformation and towards reliable information?
Can anyone give good examples of either reliable healthcare information or misinformation via radio?
