In Geneva on the 27th of May, Cameroon through the leadership of its Minister of Public Health, Dr Manaouda Malachie has tightened strong cooperation ties with World Health Organization.
In fact, Cameroon is now a Member of the WHO Executive Board, soon Cameroonians at the WHO Emergency Academy in Lyon as well as the planned visit of the Director General of WHO to Cameroon.
I have hope that this cooperation should also lead to improvement of NCDs and mental illness managements, as well as enabling standard mental health care interventions, the QualityRight protocol to be widely adopted.
