30 September, 2020

*A Global Perspective on the Impact of COVID-19 on Child Education and Development*

Date: Thursday, October 1st | Time: 8:00 - 9:00 AM EDT [GMT-4]

Please join the Implementation Science subgroup on Thursday, October 1st to learn how education and schooling is being addressed around the world and what child development looks like over the short, medium, and long term during the pandemic. COVID-19 has affected all aspects of health and well-being, including early development for young children. Ensuring inclusive and equitable access to quality education is a key part of the global sustainable development agenda and is inextricably linked to a child's development and lifelong health. As children prepare to "return to school," some for the first time (entering pre-primary or primary), every country is responding differently.
