It is a hot topic and each government is issuing different advices and suggesting extremely variable approaches, in most cases not available in English.
We are all witnessing the effects of previous COVID19 policies and, in some cases, the dramatic results obtained by some governments. On this topic, it is more useful to at least consider guidelines by scientific societies or dedicate independent organizations (see https://www.aspher.org/mask-use-children.html)
