Children and Wearing Masks - COVID-19 (22)

27 July, 2020

Of interest in South Africa, there were early recommendations for universal wearing of cloth masks including for children older than 2. These have recently been reinforced with employers being held accountable if workers do not wear masks.

In general people are fairly compliant, although mask wearing technique is not universally good (many wearing them as chin ornaments). The children have been very compliant and not overly distressed by having to wear them to school (including my 3 year old nephew).

God bless
