On behalf of my co-authors, I am pleased to share about our new publication in Global Health: Science and Practice where we described the analysis and process of our planning for the health workforce in the Philippines through a model of cocreation that brought together researchers and policymakers. Lessons from our experience may guide policy makers, program managers, and researchers in low- and middle-income countries as they navigate the challenges in their health workforce through cocreation where the research addresses policy-relevant questions and the resulting policy is informed by the research evidence.
