Warm greetings from Bangladesh!
As you know, women with disabilities, especially visually impaired women face many obstacles/ double burden in their lives in developing countries including Bangladesh. Keeping ahead of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities--I have prepared a story/ saga of Fahima, a visually impaired woman in Bangladesh about her daring journey with disabilities. At the age of one and seven months she lost her eyesight due to smallpox and then her weeping started!
At present she is 53 (Fifty three) years old, still unmarried, and working as a banker in the capital Dhaka city. To read more about her please open the link:
